20+ Gluten-Free Pantry Recipes {Simple}
Hi Guys!
Today I am going to share a bunch of different gluten-free pantry recipes! All these recipes can be made with food found in your freezer and pantry. And if you don’t have much food in your pantry/freezer, this can provide you good ideas on what to stock up on!
Let’s dive into the gluten-free pantry recipes!!
1. Frozen Meat + Frozen Veggies + Spices
If you have any of these foods, you can make a quick meal. The possibilities are endless, just have a variety of spices on hand to make different combinations.
Some ideas include:
Hamburgers + Frozen Green Beans + Salt and Pepper
Chicken + Frozen Mashed Cauliflower + Spice Blend
Honey Lime Salmon + Frozen Okra
2. Quinoa + Black Beans + Canned Tomatoes + Frozen Corn
This is a simple pantry meal that you can make in no time. Add chili powder, cumin, and you have a yummy vegan chili bowl.
3. Chickpea + Cucumbers + Tomatoes + Tahini Drizzle*
This includes fresh veggies, but this is a very simple salad to make. And the veggies store well and easy to obtain.
1/2 cup of tahini
1 juice of a lemon
1 tsp Garlic Powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp cumin
a dash of cayenne pepper
4 tbsp filtered water, more as desired
Mix all the ingredients by hand!
4. Pasta Sauce + GF Chickpea Pasta
My favorite GF pasta is made from chickpeas. I love to keep this on hand if I need a quick meal. If I have meat, I may add that and mix in some cheese too
5. Lentils + Taco Seasoning
I have never tried lentils in a can, so I recommend dried lentils. But this is so easy to make if you don’t have any meat and it tastes like real taco meat!
Here is the taco seasoning I use:
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp paprika
½ tsp oregano
½ tsp onion powder
½ tsp of sea salt
black pepper
¼ tsp red pepper flakes
Cook 1 cup of lentils and then mix in about ½ of this seasoning or more to taste.
6. Jarred Pesto + Noodles + Cherry Tomatoes (Veggies)
You can make this meal a variety of ways. Keep it simple and just mix in pesto with your noodles and then add some fresh cherry tomatoes. Or you can grab a sheet pan with veggies and mix with pesto and roast. Then put the roasted veggies over pasta and add chicken or sausage! Yum!!
7. Asian Beef Bowls + Veggies + Rice
This is a sneak peek of another simple meal prep recipe…but basically you can cook up ground beef and rice. Add some rice vinegar and coconut aminos to the beef. Then, do a quick pickle of carrots, beets, jicama, or whatever veggie you want. Mix together for a yummy Asian bowl and add a soft boiled egg for extra yumminess. (full recipe coming soon)
8. Tuna Salad Dip + Crackers
I don’t love tuna salad right now. But my hubby loves it, so I make him a healthier version of Jimmy John’s tuna recipe.
3 cans of tuna (5 oz)
1 celery
¼ white onion
1/8 cup of tamari
¼ cup avocado oil mayo
Mix ingredients together and eat with your favorite GF cracker or GF bread.
9. Anti-Inflammatory Fennel Salmon Patties.
I haven’t made this recipe in YEARS. But I used to eat weekly and I made before every trip to eat on the plane. You can also use this as a dip if you don’t want to cook it. The recipe is here if you want to make it.
10. Veggie + White Bean Soup
I used to not like beans, but I am really enjoying cannellini beans. For this recipe, use 1 can of cannellini beans, bone broth, and frozen veggies (or whatever you have in the kitchen). Then add 1 tsp of paprika, 1 tsp thyme, 1 tsp of garlic powder, 1 tsp of sea salt, and fresh pepper to taste.
11. Blueberry + Pineapple Smoothie
I am not a big smoothie person, but I do love a good blueberry pineapple smoothie. I love this combo because blueberry is lower in sugar and pineapple has higher sugar content. And it just tastes good because they are my 2 favorite fruits right now.
12. Avocado + GF Toast + Eggs
Another easy meal is to make gluten-free toast with avocado, sprinkle some bagel seasoning and then top with a gooey-runny egg. What is better than a gooey egg?
13. Paleo Sloppy Joes + Baked Potato
Take a baked potato and top with a yummy ground beef mixture like sloppy joes.
Here is my recipe for paleo sloppy joes:
1 lb grass-fed ground beef
3 tbsp organic tomato paste
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp sea salt
fresh pepper
1 tbsp organic ketchup
2 tbsp organic ground mustard
14. Sausage + Veggies Sheet Pan
I love to keep sausage on hand for a quick meal. And if I need to make something last minute, I can add to pasta and noodles with red sauce/pesto. Another idea is to roast veggies with cut up sausage!
15. Chickpea Curry + Rice
Heat up a can of chickpeas and add 1 tbsp of curry powder. Mix with frozen broccoli, beans, and/or cauliflower (any veggie). Then add your favorite milk (coconut milk is the standard) to make creamy. Cook up some rice and eat the curry over the rice.
16. Eggs + Frozen Hashbrowns + Frozen Sausage
Breakfast foods are always easy, plus these can all keep in the freezer. Eggs are a common staple, but if you don’t have, feel free to skip and just cook up the hashbrowns and sausage. MM
17. Enchilada Sauce + Chicken + Corn Tortillas
You can make so much with a good enchilada sauce. You can buy a jar or make your own. Then just layer with corn tortillas, chicken, Mexican cheese, and add the sauce. Heat until warm.
18. Detox Lentil Soup
On the stove, mix together dried lentils, frozen veggies (your choice), 1 cup of potatoes, 1 cup of sweet potato, fresh garlic, 4 cups of broth, 1 tsp of rosemary, 1 tsp thyme, 1/2 tsp of sea salt and pepper. Bring to a boil and cook for 20 minutes or until potatoes are soft.
19. Avocado Pesto + Pasta
Making an avocado pesto is SO good and it’s so easy. Just take 2 avocados, 1/2 tsp of garlic powder, 1/2 tsp of sea salt, 1 lemon. Blend the sauce. Mix and pour over GF pasta. Mix in fresh tomatoes or greens.
20. Chickpea Salad
Take a bowl and mix together these ingredients: 1 can of chickpeas, 1 celery, 2 tbsp of avocado mayo, 1/2 squeezed lemon, 1 tsp of celery seed. Eat on a bed of romaine lettuce, crackers, or by itself!!
