8 Paleo Ground Beef Recipes (Paleo/Whole 30 Approved)

Hey Guys!

it’s my birthday!! whooo. its my last year in my 20’s and my last year being unmarried. time to move into a new era. I know this is going to be a big year and I cannot wait to look back on it next year as I head into my 30’s. :O yikes. For now, let’s dive into some delectable recipes. 🙂

Today I wanted to share my current favorite ground beef recipes. I LOVE ground beef. It is probably my favorite protein. It just feels so grounding and it has so much flavor! And whenever I eat a grass-fed ground beef, I feel SO good.  And it helps that my fiancé loves beef way more than chicken, so I am cooking it up at least 2-3x a week!

So here are my go-to recipes, that I cook again and again. They are all paleo and whole 30 approved so save this post if you are starting a whole 30 in January!

  1. Keema Matar

I love the flavors of this dish especially paired with okra. I am obsessed with Pakistani and Indian flavors. *drool* and this dish satisfies both of those flavors. And if you have not tried okra PLEASE GET ON THAT NOW! xox

2. Homemade Meaty Tomato Sauce

Nothing is better than some hearty meaty tomato sauce.  I love to make this dish with my favorite GF rice noodles or Banza chickpea noodles. If you are on the whole 30/paleo,I would eat this on a bed of greens, spaghetti squash and or yellow squash.  You can honestly pile this sauce on any veggies and it will make everything taste delicious.

3.Paleo Sloppy Joes

Another delicious meal is this one by Christina Rice. The flavor is on point and it is just so freaking EASY! You can pair this with your favorite roasted veggies and your meal will not get any better.  So yummy – put this on your meal plan soon!

4. Paleo Shepherds Pie

I love Shepherds pie! I actually never tried this as a kid, but I think it is like a grown-up version of tator tot hot-dish which was one the best MEALS ever. I love how easy it is, comforting, and versatile! You can mix in any veggies and top it with any mashed root veggie! I have never tried it with sweet potatoes because that sounds like dessert on top of meat?? Lol I have made it with mashed potatoes and mashed rutabaga. Both are so tasty!

5. Sweet and Spicy Meat LOAF!

I love meat loaf. This one has pork and ground beef, but I had to share this recipe because I loved it so much. You could use only ground beef if you wanted! I love this homemade spicy sauce and even made without the molasses. I have no idea where to find that and I probably would rarely use….don’t be afraid to make adjustments to recipe. You will not mess it up if you cannot follow the *exact* recipe.

6. Paleo Swedish Meatballs

I avoid making meatballs because they take a bit of work. And you usually need an egg as binder, but usually I skip the egg and the meatballs still stick. I love anything with a sauce because it just brings the meal together. Plus mashed potatoes = life.

7. Butternut Squash Chili

This recipe is SOO good. It has the perfect spicy flavor. Not too spicy but not boring. I skipped the bacon in this recipe, because that was too much work and sounded weird to put in my chili. Butternut squash is perfect to mix into your favorite chili recipe. You could mix in any veggie that sounds good to you.  And that is another reason to love chili because it is so versatile!

8. Taco Salad

Last, but not least is taco salad!! I make taco salads so often that I am getting a bit sick of them. Haha But they are so easy that you just cannot go wrong! I don’t have a recipe, because I just find a homemade taco seasoning recipe online and throw it in the ground beef. Then I will pile it on top of a bed of greens, tomatoes, and avocado. Simple and quick which is my favorite when it comes to cooking.

And that is it for my ground beef round-up! Let me know by commenting below which recipe you are most excited to make. I am thinking I need to make that meat loaf again soon…. xoxo
