Gluten Free Chocolate Chip Tahini Banana Bread

I am super excited to share this recipe for gluten-free chocolate chip tahini banana bread!  I have been inspired by all the tahini desserts I have seen out there so I came up with this dessert bread! If you haven’t tried tahini yet – you need to get on the train! Tahini is ground up sesame seeds and tastes more savory than other nut butters.   I love tahini because it is from a seed and I like to avoid nuts from time to time for digestion. I also love it because it is so versatile! My favorite way to use tahini is in homemade dressings, mixed in my oatmeal with blueberries, this AMAZING simple recipe, and of course hummus! Yes tahini is one of the main ingredients in hummus!

Lately, I have been craving something sweet and been wanting to make a dessert bread. I love dessert breads because they are so easy. You mix it up in one bowl and pour in a pan. Voila! You can make a beautiful dessert bread with ease. This one is no exception. The recipe turned out amazing and I am very happy with it.

Sesame Seeds have LOTS of benefits. So I thought I would list out a few because what isn’t motivation to bake a recipe that is going to nourish your body??

*Note – Look for a tahini without salt. I prefer the taste of unsalted tahini especially when I use on oatmeal or baking.
