Whoo!! I am starting back Wonder Wednesday. At least once a month to share all my FAVORITE products, articles, learnings, books to support my overall wellness in Body, Mind & Soul! <3

I LOVE trying new things, reading books. This is my DAILY happy place. So why not share with you!!?? (I have a lot for this first one….so hang tight 😉

YOUR BODY

  • Want to get more veggies into your diet like NOW? You need to try out this company HungryRoot. Hungryroot delivers the meals straigspiralized recipeht to your house and I tried every single meal and they are all SOO good. Even the Beet noodles with savory almond sesame…which I was nervous to try, but now I LOVE BEETS!! (beets are GREAT for helping your liver detox so heck yes!)  After trying the beet noodles I actually really like beets now and I was always a bit hesitant around them.  They are a bit messy though with the deep reddish purple color so be careful!!!Ordering from them inspired me to purchase a spiralizer and re-create the meals myself!!
    Here is my favorite homemade recipe so far….Spiralize a red cabbage <<(spriralize isn’t a word yet lol, but soon it will be!!)

    • Spiralize a sweet potato
    • Slice up ginger
    • Put 1 tbsp of unrefined coconut oil in a frying pan
    • Heat up ginger, cabbage, and sweet potato noodles
    • Add 1 TBSP red chili paste
    • Add 1 tsp cinnamon
    • Add 1 tsp turmeric
    • (I’ll be honest I didn’t measure the spices)
    • Add some grilled chicken or your favorite clean* sausage
    • Heat until noodles are soft!
    • Pair with a slice of avocado
    • SOO GOOD!! Not only is this 100% completely satisfying and filling – you easily can get in 2-3 servings of vegetables!
  • Also – You would think Hungryroot would skimp on the veggies, but that was NOT the case! Every meal I tried was so satisfying and filling and I felt great afterward!! I am looking forward to re-creating more recipes and ordering from them again! 🙂 )

YOUR MIND

 

Working on your mind is a daily thing. It affects your mood and your actions which are both REQUIRED to find success.

 

I have been working through the book May Cause Miracles by Gabby Bernstein.  Gabby really helps you to dig deep and examine my ego’s thoughts. (Ego = the negative side of your mind that causes fear, anxiety, etc.)may cause miracles

My current ego’s thoughts: Piling on EVERYTHING on my to-do list. Spreading myself too thin and doing 10x things that the same time. Sometimes I will sit down to work and I will be doing 5 things at the same time as fast as possible.  My time is limited and my list is endless. Unfortunately I have been struggling a lot with pressuring myself to get SOMETHING done and then not being very focused because I am doing 10x at the same time.  Being super honest – I have endless ideas and content floating in my brain, and having it all up there is GREAT! But it makes it hard to focus as even while I am writing this – I got inspired to write something new. Lol
So what is the ego saying in your mind right now? We always have a choice to listen to the ego or listen to our higher self’s voice. Being aware is the first step to shift.  Check out Gabby’s book if you want to transform your life and stop listening to the ego’s voice.

 

Remind yourself daily that you can CHOOSE how you want to feel. When I am feeling “blah” – I like sitting back and thinking “How do you want to feel Chelsea?” I will list 3 words on how I want to feel that day! I like doing this for the weekend especially because the lack of structure on the weekend tends to give me anxiety so I focus on how I want to feel and then plan out my action steps!!

I keep it really simple, but it is SO helpful when you feel confused on what to do, anxious about your  lack of plan, but just KNOW that you want to feel better!

 

YOUR SOUL

When you take care of your body and mind, your soul just feels on fire to spread your message and live your purpose.  Taking care of your stress and being still are both crucial to connect to your soul. Here are my favorite ways….

 

Right now I am loving – detox salt baths.  I get in the tub with 2-3 cups of bath salts and 1 cup of baking powder and just sit in the bath and let my body detox. This also is a great time to quiet my mind. I have a hard time sitting still in my mind, and I know it is crucial to reconnecting with my purpose/message and doing what really feels good. I am making this a priority as I slow down and really listen in to what action I need to take.

 

Be Creative. I have started to really LOVE writing.  A year ago I was pained to write one article and It felt like so much work!!  I feel connected to my soul when I am creating.  Do what creatively nurtures you and make sure you MAKE time for it and schedule it in. <3 Check out my article over at Best Kept Self where I chat all about 7 Healthy Steps to Being More in the Creative Zone!

Last – I made a new commitment to eat dark chocolate 1-2x a week. Yum ! I love mixing in 2 squares into my oats with a bit of coconut oil. The high fat meal is SO satisfying and it will give you lots of brain powder to start off the day!

YEP! it’s a fact! Chocolate is good for your body, mind, and soul. <3
